CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WATER DAY
On the occasion of the International Water day which fell on the 24th of March, the Sunil Gamage Foundation along with Tsukuba Technical Promotions (Pvt) Limited( an institute which trains and provides opportunities for local youth to obtain Technical knowledge and practical experience in Japan) undertook a CSR project of clearing and cleaning the Waters of the Dikkowita Fisheries Harbour.

Over eighty (80) past and present students of Tsukuba Technical Promotions (Pvt) Ltd took part in this CSR project which was a great success.
This was done under the guidance of Dr. Sunil Gamage , the Consul for Sri Lanka in Japan and also the patron of the Sunil Gamage Foundation.
අන්තර්ජාතික ජල දිනය සමරමින්.
මාර්තු 24 වෙනිදාට යෙදුනු ජාත්‍යන්තර ජල දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් සුනිල් ගමගේ පදනම සහ සුකුබා තාක්‍ෂණික ප්‍රවර්ධන (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම (ජපානයේ තාක්‍ෂණික දැනුම හා ප්‍රායෝගික පළපුරුද්ද ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා දේශීය තරුණයින්ට පුහුණුව ලබා දෙන ආයතනයක්) දික්ඕවිට ධීවර වරාය පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ සමාජ සත්කාරක ව්‍යාපෘතියක් ආරම්භ කළේය.

ඉතා සාර්ථක වූ මෙම සීඑස්ආර් ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා සුකුබා කාර්මික ප්‍රවර්ධන (පුද්ගලික) සමාගමේ සිසුන් (පෙර සහ වර්තමාන) අසූ දෙනෙකුට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් සහභාගී වූහ. ජපානයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා කොන්සල්වරයා සහ සුනිල් ගමගේ පදනමේ අනුශාසක ආචාර්ය සුනිල් ගමගේගේ මඟ පෙන්වීම යටතේ මෙය සිදු කෙරිනි.
